NO CATALOGUE
We sell SPECIMEN SEASHELLS for collectors - and DECOSHELLS for
crafts, decoration & interior design.
We also sell BOOKS about seashells. Our stock changes so quickly that
we cannot offer a printed catalogue - it would be out of date almost
immediately!
NO ONLINE ORDERING FORMS
We do not use online ordering forms / shopping basket and prefer informal e-mail
messages instead.
This allows you to add your own comments to your order anywhere you like (i.e.
colour or size preferences), which is great for specimen shell
orders and many decor projects.
MINIMUM ORDER
Minimum ordering value: $ 30.00 (+ GST, not incl. shipping cost).
GST
Australian Goods & Services Tax (10%) is applicable to all Australian
domestic orders.
No GST applies for overseas export. All Australian customers will
receive a quote incl. GST.
ORDERING BOOKS
Please send us an e-mail, fax or letter with the titles and QTY you
wish to order.
Please include your mailing address and contact phone nr. (in case of
queries). We will send you a quote with available payment and delivery
options to your destination.
ORDERING DECOSHELLS / STARFISH (MINIMUM ORDER
VALUE: $ 30.00)
Please send us an e-mail, fax or letter with QTY and type of shells or
starfish you would like to order.
Please include your mailing address and contact phone nr. (in case of
queries). We will send you a quote incl. available payment methods and
shipping cost to your destination.
ORDERING SPECIMEN SEASHELLS (MINIMUM ORDER
VALUE: $ 30.00)
Please e-mail, fax or mail us with a list of QTY & type of shells you
would like to order. You can specify preferences (colour / pattern,
etc.)
Please include your mailing address and contact phone number (in case
of queries).
Specimen seashell ordering requires additional text description per
item, as each shell is unique. To help you order exactly what you
want, we have established the following 3 steps:
3 EASY STEPS VIA COPY & PASTE (you can send us a handwritten
fax or letter instead, but this method will save you time!)
1 - SELECT: Open any pricelist and scroll down to your desired shell
listing. Select the ENTIRE ROW featuring name, location, description,
grading and price of the species you want. To select, keep your left
mouse-button pressed and drag your cursor across until all you want is
highlighted, then release the mouse button. You will find the text you
just highlighted still selected. If you make a mistake, no problem!
Just left-click your mouse again elsewhere on the screen to de-select
- and try again.
2 - COPY: Right-click your mouse on the highlighted text. From the
pop-up menu, select COPY with a left-click of your mouse. This copies
only your highlighted text.
3 - PASTE: Go to our contact page and click on the e-mail link. A new
e-mail window will open on your screen. Type a subject (i.e. "Specimen
Order") in the subject bar. Put your cursor in the message space.
Right-click and select PASTE from the pop-up menu with a left-click of
your mouse. Your selected bit of text will now appear in your e-mail
window.
Repeat these steps for additional items from our lists to paste into
the same message.
Add any comments (i.e. preferences) for your order as you like. If you
include your mailing address and a contact phone nr, we can quote on
delivery / ring you with a query. Send your
message. Done!
We will reply to you ASAP with an offer incl. shipping cost that will
include all available payment options.
TIP: Consider pasting into other file formats (WORD, EXCEL, PDF, etc.)
for step 3.
Open a new file and paste your rows into that. Add your address &
phone details and comments, then save the file and attach it to your
e-mail.
- Want to order a lot of species from a single pricelist? Simply
select & copy the entire list into your e-mail / file. Then just
DELETE the species you don't want to order - very quick & easy!
- Problems with formatting? No worries! If your email
looks a bit strange, don't worry - we can usually figure it out.
- Send us a mobile screenshot or images of what you would like to
order? That's fine too.
DISCOUNTS & WHOLESALE
Most items listed in the Decoshells
section (Seashells, Starfish, etc. for Decoration) will offer discounts for multiple item ordering. Australian Seashells
does not distinguish between general public and retailer
customers, offering additional bulk discounts for large orders based
on the total order volume as follows:
DECOSHELLS
Most items in this category already offer multiple order discounts.
Place a larger order
instead of several smaller ones to lower delivery cost per item
AND get additional bulk discounts:
5% discount for orders over AUD 300.00 and above in
value.
10% discount for orders over AUD 500.00 and above in
value.
We will also include numerous free gifts
and samples (which further help to offset postage cost). Applicable discounts largely depend on the conditions and prices
we have to pay when buying our stock (many different sources). If you
are purchasing for a shop / business, we will generally grant you free
items for each order. Let us know if you need a regular supply
of any item.
SPECIMEN SEASHELLS
5% discount for Specimen Seashells orders
of AUD 1000.00 (not incl. GST) and above in value.
10% discount for Specimen Seashells orders
of AUD 2000.00 (not incl. GST) and above in value.
There are also substantial discounts available for selected species
that apply also for small orders. Please find them described as
wholesale offer in our pricelists. We may grant additional discounts
if you purchase 10 pcs (or more) of any listed item. We will generally
grant free gifts (extras) with each order, which will add up to
another considerable discount. Gifts increase over time
as we continue our business relationship with you.
BOOKS
Seashell reference books are produced on A Grade first-rate paper for
HD image
reproduction in very small print runs. They are expensive to make at
extremely low profit margins for publishers and distributors alike (if
any). We proudly distribute truly fabulous books to Australia /
Oceania / Asia/Pacific regions. Some discounts available for
booksellers apply to orders of at least 2 copies per title.
SHIPPING
We ship anywhere in Australia and
Internationally.
Check here if Australia Post ships to you - if they do, we
will too! All our product prices include
handling/packaging. Although fragile shells may require
double-boxing, etc,
we do not charge additional handling fees. We
will commence assembly and packaging of your order once we
receive payment.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
No packaging or handling fees. Before we ship
your order, a pro forma invoice will be posted, faxed or e-mailed to
you with a detailed invoice incl. shipping quote to your destination.
STANDARD
Delivery / Tracking
We will automatically ship your
order by the most economical shipping option, based on parcel
weight. Our default option is
Standard Australia Post eParcel
service (trackable, delivery against signature) charged at flat rates
(max. 15kg per parcel). The eParcel system sends automatic
tracking updates to your email address as soon as the parcel is
lodged, delivery time is quoted at max. 5
business days to Australian destinations.
EXPRESS Delivery / Tracking
If your order is urgent, please request Australia Post EXPRESS
eParcel shipping, which will be charged at flat rates, based on
parcel weight (max. 5kg per parcel). It's a fully trackable
service offering automatic delivery updates to your email
address as soon as your parcel is lodged, with delivery against signature quoted within max. 3
business days to Australian destinations.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
No packaging / handling fees for worldwide
delivery. All International orders are evaluated with care for each
shipment to ensure we are quoting the best possible
(most economical) and preferably trackable shipping option for your destination.

International Delivery Times
Australia Post generally advises delivery to most destinations
in Asia as 4-5 business days, USA and Western Europe as 6-10 business days via Standard AirMail
(pending customs and security screening on arrival). For

IMPORTANT International Customs /
Duty Notice:
Australian Seashells will export tax-free goods when shipping
your order from Australia. Please be aware that tax / duty may
apply for importing goods to your destination on arrival in your
country. Please check applicable duty rates at your local
customs office.
International Courier Shipping
We can ship via your own preferred courier (TNT / EMS / DHL).
Please advise details when placing your order if you would like
to use your own courier account for shipping.
Most worldwide Courier deliveries will take 4-5 business days
from date of lodgement, pending fast-tracking of customs /
quarantine inspection. NOTE: Courier delivery services require a
physical street address for delivery (no PO Boxes).

CREDIT CARD
We accept domestic Australian VISA or MasterCard payments. Please
contact us - phone, fax (dedicated fax line to our secure office) or
e-mail us with your card details (we require your name, address &
contact phone nr., card number, CVV code and expiry date). We will
acknowledge receipt of your details, process your payment immediately
as a standard internet order and will get your shipment incl. tax
invoice/receipt underway for you at once - if possible on the same
day, otherwise on the next business day.
EFT / BANK TRANSFER
We accept bank transfers of your Australian Dollar payment directly
into our business account at the NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK. Please
contact us for our bank details.
CHEQUE
We accept Australian personal or bank cheques (Australian Dollars
only) made out to AUSTRALIAN SEASHELLS PTY. LTD.
MONEY ORDER
We accept Australia Post money orders (Australian Dollars only) made

CHEQUE
We can accept personal or bank cheques in AUD made out to Australian
Seashells P/L.
We can accept personal or bank cheques in USD (value at least 200.00
USD and above!), made out to Mr. Hugh Morrison only.
NOTE: We can only accept cheques with machine encoding on the lower
edge (NO non-encoded cheques, sorry!).
MONEY ORDER
We can accept Intl. money orders (via Post Office - NOT Western Union)
made out in Australian Dollars to AUSTRALIAN SEASHELLS PTY. LTD.
Please send money orders to our mailing address - see contact. Please
be aware that post offices will charge you (and us) substantial fees
for this service, which is however both secure and reliable.
PAYPAL
We accept PayPal payments in AUD from Intl. customers only (NOTE: 3.6%
surcharge applies to help cover PayPal 3rd party fees). Please request

Specimen Seashells are by
definition highly individual objects and
there is still no better way to evaluate a
Specimen Shell than holding it in your hand and
looking at it. We are offering you a ‘Money
Back Guarantee' for all our Specimen Seashell
items, which means that you can return any
of them for a refund (or online
shop credit if you prefer that) to the full
value of the item(s) returned, excluding
shipping cost. In short, if you do not like
the shells we have selected for any reason,
you can send them back for a full refund or
exchange if you wish. |
